Why I Don’t Need Anything More
The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me]
I shall not want [I don't need a thing]
He makes me to lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside still waters [to rest]
He restores my soul [and renews my strength]
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake [not for my earning it, but for His Name alone]
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil [I will not dread]
For You are with me [always]
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me [and give me courage]
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
You anoint my head with oil
My cup runs over [with blessing]
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
