God doesn’t have favorites. If it looks like someone else has more peace, more joy, more prosperity, more favor, or whatever from God, it’s not because He loves them more.
I like something our Pastor once said: “Don’t judge my fruit until you’ve seen my seed.”
We could say it like this: “Don’t judge another’s green grass until you’ve seen the amount of water they’ve given it.” (Not as clever, but you get the point.)
The Bible says it this way: “For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church” (Ephesians 5:29).
So as you enjoy your weekend, remember the water hose is in your hand.
