After writing yesterday’s post, I ran across this video on Facebook. It really touched my heart because it so perfectly fit the questions addressed in my blog: Are We Quick to Judge? Or Quick to Help?
A short time later, two different opportunities crossed my path to help those in need. It was as if God was saying, “Will you just write about it, or really do something?” I may not be able to find or help Ronald Davis (the man in the video), but I can help someone.
An anonymous author once wrote:
I AM ONLY ONE, BUT STILL I AM ONE.
I CANNOT DO EVERYTHING, BUT STILL I CAN DO SOMETHING. [click to tweet]
YET BECAUSE I CANNOT DO EVERYTHING,
I WILL NOT REFUSE TO DO THE SOMETHING THAT I CAN DO.
I hope you are as touched as I was by this man’s testimony. But more than that, I hope all of us remember we can do something–big or small.
With ONE word, answer this question: Why do you think we fail to help? [answer in the comments]
