Q: What is the first thing that must be done before a house or other structure can be built?
A: The foundation must be laid.
Our lives are no different.
The problem is, a good foundation takes time. God knows this and you need to know this. Too many Christians get a vision or dream from God, but end up never fulfilling it because they rushed the foundation or they begin to build only to change their mind (never getting their foundation set).
God has a plan for all our lives. This means the plan calls for a FOUNDATION.
In this month’s Partner CD, I share how God helped me and my husband build our foundation. One of the key lessons we learned is that we are all building (and being built) on those before us. Ephesians 2:20-22 says:
You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone.
In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord].
In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.
I believe this audio teaching will help you, no matter what stage of life you are in. You can receive it as my THANK YOU for your partner gift of $10 or more to Mirror Ministries during the month of October.
